
Andrew Hartsog is the Executive Vice President at Constellis, a global leader in security and government services. Before entering the private sector in 2023, he completed more than 30 years of distinguished government service, culminating as a Senior Intelligence Service (SIS) Executive with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). As a career Paramilitary Operations Officer in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, Andrew participated in operations around the world. He served multiple tours as Chief of Station (COS) and command assignments including in some of the Agency’s most challenging war zone postings, and served as Chief of Operations for Special Activities. His career spanned the earliest days of the conflicts in Afghanistan—where he was a member of Team Alpha—and Iraq, with additional assignments across the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and Europe. Earlier in his career, Andrew served with the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets).
Andrew has earned some of the CIA’s highest honors, including the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal, two Intelligence Stars for valor, and the Directorate of Science and Technology’s John McCone Award for Excellence in Technical Operations, among other awards.
Dedicated to supporting those who served alongside U.S. forces, Andrew serves on the boards of Badger Six and FAMIL USA, foundations committed to assisting Afghan partners who contributed to American national security during the war in Afghanistan.
He holds a B.A. in History from West Virginia University and serves on the Board of Directors of the West Virginia University Alumni Association
